Teaching the truth about martial arts

News:

Congratulation goes out to Ryan Krauss -

Ryan took 4th place on the speed tracker, at the Arnold Classic for the fast punch. Beating lots of  top professional fighters & over 200,000 spectators who had a chance to try. This is very impressive since we do not consider Ryans hand speed a strong piont by our standards.

Congratulation to the 2008 JLS baseball CHAMPS!

Congratulation to the 2008 JLS baseball CHAMPS!

The 2008 JLS Pirates had a great season. Breezing thru the regular season & the playoffs we went into the championship game very confidant. Struggling in the championship game, we were losing late in the game. To over come this I taught the team positive/negative energy & breathing from Systema. It made all of the deference which took them to victory! I wish I would have made Systema part of their practice sessions all season to help them be more consistent ball players, because it definitely worked in the championship game.

Some good e-mail's

Mr. Steve,

I finished basic about a week and a half ago. I have some good stories as to why Systema works and Combatives Level one doesn't- one involves me sending a guy airborne over my head w/my hands restrained. Please tell those that remember me hello, and best of luck for the guys preparing for fights. Thanks again for Systema, in a place where hand to hand combat and grappling are valued, it's nice to know I can stand toe to toe with guys who have 6+ years of training and give them one heck of a fight.

Sincerely,
Daniel Humenuck

Here's an interesting story for you. I don't know if Karen might have mentioned it or not, but I got bitten by a wolf spider at work on Friday. I had to go to the doc and get it checked out and he had to remove the spider's fangs from my arm. He gave me some anti-biotics and we set up a follow-up for today (Tuesday). I went in this morning and he looked at my arm and his first words were "Wow! The swelling is all gone!". According to the doc, wolf spider bites are supposed to stay swollen for about a week to 10 days and they're supposed to ooze puss. Now for the fun part. He asked me if I was doing anything outside of the anti-biotics to treat the bite. I told him "Yes, I'm breathing through it." You can imagine the look he gave me (you know, the one that a person would get if they suddenly sprouted an extra head). Once I explained what I meant he was very excited and I spent about half an hour in the exam room trying to explain how to breathe through an injury. I told him about Dr. Vedov in Russia treating things like cancer with breathing treatments and about Vladimir's book.
